Deck Type: ''Winged Samurai" (翼侍) - Winged Beasts of dark attribute known as ''Blackwings'', whose objective is to swarm the field and overwhelm their opponent in numbers, as well as to Synchro summon their higher-level Blackwings and general Assault Blackwings.

Transformation Skill: "Wings of the Descending Moon" (降順月の翼) - Once per turn, if a ''Blackwing'' Synchro monster is destroyed, you can add 1 of the Synchro materials used for its summon from your graveyard to your hand, then you can add 1 Blackwing monster from your deck to your hand with the same level. When you Special Summon ''Assault Blackwing - Chidori the Light Rain'', you can target a number of cards your opponent controls up to the number of Blackwings on your side of the field; return those targets to the top of the the deck.

*Upgrade* ''Rend Heaven'' (レンド天国) - Once per tun, when a ''Blackwing'' monster you control battles an opponent's monster, you can send 1 ''Blackwing'' monster from your deck to the graveyard; that monster gains ATK equal to the ATK of the sent monster until the End Phase, and if you do, decrease the opponent's monster's attack by that much.

Personality: A ruthless realist. He is the most experienced and most powerful Duelist to date. Despite his sense of realism, he can show signs of arrogance and his wealthy upbringing has mildly affected his view of the world. He sometimes refers to the other Duel Engagers as "street trash" that are beneath him and not worthy of his attention, the exception being if they directly interfere with his plans.

He also seems to have a bit of a temper when pressured. Under his ruthless realist personality shows that Takatora does have hidden feelings. In addition, he can lighten up on the rare occasion. Takatora can easily feel guilty of himself when witnessing the trouble that he faces that was all of his previous doing and is often very hard on himself whenever he makes mistakes.

Bio: Takatora is the Research and Development project leader and overseer of  Fólkvangr Corporation. Growing up under the Koboyashi family as a first-born, Takatora was placed with a heavy burden to be successful and powerful like his father, Sumeragi Koboyashi. Takatora is seen as the mediator of the Helheim Forest, destroying numerous Duel Monsters to protect his R&D researchers and allowing them to continue their research.
